About MyGenius Kindergarten, Eco Sanctuary & Rimbayu
At MyGenius kindergarten, we understand the impact of a good early childhood education to the overall lifelong development of every child. As such, we aim to provide best quality early childhood education to our children.
Our programme is built around MyGenius education philosophy of providing a well balanced learning and development to our children in a manner that unleash their potential.
We have equal emphasis on 5 Key Focus Areas: STRONG TRILINGUAL FOUNDATION, EXPLORATION & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, 3) MORAL AND CHARACTER BUILDING, 4) SOCIAL & LIFE SKILLS and 5) PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT & PLAY
1) STRONG TRILINGUAL FOUNDATION
While our main medium of instruction is delivered using Mandarin and English, at MyGenius kindergarten, children are exposed to Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia daily in a formal and informal setting.
They learn Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia naturally through stories, rhymes, words recognition, day-to-day communication, songs and activities. Children are trained to listen, read, speak, write and comprehend in all three languages.
We create an environment that encourages the usage of these languages daily where our children feel safe to speak and express themselves. We have an excellent track record of helping our children successfully transition into their Primary school years, especially for Chinese Primary Schools where they are able to leverage on their mastery of Mandarin immediately to acquire new knowledge.
This give them a strong head-start in their Primary school years.
2) EXPLORATION & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
In addition to formal classroom learning, theme-based self-exploration and experiential learning are an important aspect of our lessons. MyGenius' proprietary methodology combine interesting teaching aids and materials to attract the curiosity of our eager young minds.
This includes exciting science experiments and fun activities to enhance our children’s science knowledge, numerical literacy, logical thinking and problem solving skills. This help bring out the best of both Math and Science to our children. Math and Science are delivered in bilingual, Mandarin and English.
Creativity and expression are encouraged through art and craft, music and movement, and role play. Active participation from parents in supporting their children's learning, including joint assignments are an integral aspect of our lessons.
3) MORAL AND CHARACTER BUILDING
High standard of ethics forms an important aspect of our value-based education. This culture starts from our team of carefully selected teachers.
MyGenius aims to instill good moral upbringing and character building in our children from a young age.
This is achieved through our children's daily life practices and guided interactions with their teachers and friends.
4) SOCIAL & LIFE SKILLS
Our children learn to live and function as a community through effective interactions with the teachers and their peers in all aspect of their daily life at the kindergarten. This helps our children to be sociable as they learn to respect and care for each other, preparing them well to enter into the society.
Learning about life skills is never too early. Learning the importance of life skills and understanding what they are from young will prepare our children well for the rest of their life.
On a daily basis, our children are taught essential life skills and are given the opportunity to hone these skills through hands-on practices. This includes dressing themselves up, tidying up, cleaning, staying safe, gardening and simple cooking or baking.
We nurture good eating habits and good personal hygiene in our children, teaching them to be independent and a responsible individual.
5) PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT & PLAY
Play remains an important aspect of every child's life.
Physical activities involving motor skills is vital for a child's development and lays the foundation for a healthy and active life. Healthier children learn better and they are more focused in class.
Through daily play, team activities, sports and games, our children gradually develop their motor skills and build good character.

Our son, Syed Neeqayl, has been with MyGenius since age 4, so about 3 years now. Coming from a non-Mandarin-speaking family, he had no basics in Mandarin, but now he can speak fluently and comfortably. It’s a big improvement from zero to being a confident speaker. In terms of behaviour, we’ve seen a lot of changes. He is more disciplined, talks politely, and does things independently after being taught proper behaviour at school. Academically, he learns quickly—even before we try to teach, he already knows. Sometimes he even corrects our English or Malay pronunciation, showing the confidence MyGenius has instilled in him. He also enjoys maths and science. For example, he came home excited to try the beanstalk experiment, which shows how the school encourages curiosity. We really appreciate the caring, dedicated, and cooperative teachers. They’ve done so much for our child, and we’re truly thankful. For parents considering MyGenius, we believe it’s a great choice—especially for building a strong foundation in Mandarin to prepare for Chinese primary school. Before joining MyGenius, he wasn't able to read and write in Chinese, and unable to speak Mandarin. After joining, he is able to write and speak in Mandarin. He learned to respect elders and understand more what he is supposed to do. He loves all the teachers. I like the cleanliness, safety and the trust towards the teachers. I don't have to worry during the pandemic. Teachers in MyGenius are passionate, caring, loving and patient towards the children. Thank you to all MyGenius teachers!
Before joining MyGenius, can't speak Mandarin. Now, she can speak Mandarin very well, loves to speak in Mandarin and can write. She loves to read now. Loves to try new things, love science and love to study. In terms of behavior, she's now more active and participative. She's more keen to try new things. I think its because of the variety of activities that the teachers have been providing. She loves Fridays, and excited about the art and craft, science classes. One thing we are very glad is even during MCO, nothing stops her. She still looks forward to the Friday and daily online classes! All credit to the teachers and the activities that the school has arranged. Teachers always ensure discipline is well kept. My kids are more discipline and independent now. Teachers are committed, responsive and easy to reach out to, very informative, very hands on with their job. Our trust in you have not been let down. We are glad we have been sending our kids to MyGenius. My 3rd child is now with MyGenius too! For parents considering MyGenius, there is no need to think twice. You can be sure that your kids are in safe hands. When kids come back home, we don't have to worry about their homework or do revision. It's just family time! This is what all parents need.
Before joining MyGenius, she could only speak very very basic Mandarin. Her Mandarin improved dramatically ever since she joined MyGenius. Now she is able to read and write much more better. Her attitude towards learning has improved profoundly, more confident and responsible towards her education. She takes her time of learning seriously. Every evening after shower, she has her own time to study. Teachers are one of the pillars in motivating the children and have impacted my daughters life in her learning. The teachers are quite good. Although they may be strict sometimes, I'm very comfortable with it. I want to thank all the teachers at MyGenius as they have impacted my girl's life in terms of her early education. From just being a mediocre leaner, she has become very much interested in her studies. They have cultivated that kind of behavior in her. Before joining MyGenius, she couldn't converse in Mandarin. Now I see a tremendous improvement in Mandarin. She sings and talks in Mandarin. Even I'm learning from her.
