About MyGenius Kindergarten, Eco Sanctuary & Rimbayu
At MyGenius kindergarten, we understand the impact of a good early childhood education to the overall lifelong development of every child. As such, we aim to provide best quality early childhood education to our children.
Our programme is built around MyGenius education philosophy of providing a well balanced learning and development to our children in a manner that unleash their potential.
We have equal emphasis on 5 Key Focus Areas: STRONG TRILINGUAL FOUNDATION, EXPLORATION & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING, 3) MORAL AND CHARACTER BUILDING, 4) SOCIAL & LIFE SKILLS and 5) PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT & PLAY
1) STRONG TRILINGUAL FOUNDATION
While our main medium of instruction is delivered using Mandarin and English, at MyGenius kindergarten, children are exposed to Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia daily in a formal and informal setting.
They learn Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia naturally through stories, rhymes, words recognition, day-to-day communication, songs and activities. Children are trained to listen, read, speak, write and comprehend in all three languages.
We create an environment that encourages the usage of these languages daily where our children feel safe to speak and express themselves. We have an excellent track record of helping our children successfully transition into their Primary school years, especially for Chinese Primary Schools where they are able to leverage on their mastery of Mandarin immediately to acquire new knowledge.
This give them a strong head-start in their Primary school years.
2) EXPLORATION & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
In addition to formal classroom learning, theme-based self-exploration and experiential learning are an important aspect of our lessons. MyGenius' proprietary methodology combine interesting teaching aids and materials to attract the curiosity of our eager young minds.
This includes exciting science experiments and fun activities to enhance our children’s science knowledge, numerical literacy, logical thinking and problem solving skills. This help bring out the best of both Math and Science to our children. Math and Science are delivered in bilingual, Mandarin and English.
Creativity and expression are encouraged through art and craft, music and movement, and role play. Active participation from parents in supporting their children's learning, including joint assignments are an integral aspect of our lessons.
3) MORAL AND CHARACTER BUILDING
High standard of ethics forms an important aspect of our value-based education. This culture starts from our team of carefully selected teachers.
MyGenius aims to instill good moral upbringing and character building in our children from a young age.
This is achieved through our children's daily life practices and guided interactions with their teachers and friends.
4) SOCIAL & LIFE SKILLS
Our children learn to live and function as a community through effective interactions with the teachers and their peers in all aspect of their daily life at the kindergarten. This helps our children to be sociable as they learn to respect and care for each other, preparing them well to enter into the society.
Learning about life skills is never too early. Learning the importance of life skills and understanding what they are from young will prepare our children well for the rest of their life.
On a daily basis, our children are taught essential life skills and are given the opportunity to hone these skills through hands-on practices. This includes dressing themselves up, tidying up, cleaning, staying safe, gardening and simple cooking or baking.
We nurture good eating habits and good personal hygiene in our children, teaching them to be independent and a responsible individual.
5) PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT & PLAY
Play remains an important aspect of every child's life.
Physical activities involving motor skills is vital for a child's development and lays the foundation for a healthy and active life. Healthier children learn better and they are more focused in class.
Through daily play, team activities, sports and games, our children gradually develop their motor skills and build good character.

We are Zayyan Haider’s parents. Our son has been with MyGenius Kindergarten for about two and a half years. Before joining, he couldn’t speak or read Mandarin, but now he speaks fluently, reads well, and can communicate with friends and teachers. We’ve seen him grow from zero to about 80% in Mandarin. We also noticed big changes in his behaviour—he has become more confident, responsible with homework and daily duties, and even helps clean up after play. He enjoys both academics and outdoor activities, like trips to the bird park, and never shows reluctance to go to school. Elvis is 6 years old and has been with MyGenius for over 3 years. Before joining, he didn’t know how to read and still spoke in a baby tone. After joining, we clearly saw improvements in his speech, communication, attention span, and even life skills. What I like most about MyGenius is the teachers and their programmes. The way they teach is very effective, and they organise many meaningful activities, like parent-child events, a visit to the pencil factory, and even insect-themed parties. The teachers are very responsible. Whenever I ask questions, they never push them aside. Instead, they patiently explain, tell me where my child can improve, and guide me on what activities I can add at home to help him learn better. To all the MyGenius teachers, thank you so much for looking after Elvis and for everything you’ve taught him. I really appreciate it. Our child attended MyGenius Kindergarten for 4 years, from age 3 to 6. While we communicated in Mandarin at home, he couldn't read initially due to his young age. However, his Mandarin vocabulary and reading skills have significantly improved at MyGenius. He now understands over 90% of the words in simple storybooks. He has become confident, can ask questions freely, and has become independent, often sharing the knowledge he learned from his teachers. MyGenius excels not only in Mandarin but also in other languages. Despite initial worries about overemphasising Mandarin, we found they also provide strong English enrichment and Malay syllable lessons. His vocabulary and language skills have improved remarkably, especially in the last 1-2 years. We appreciate how MyGenius teachers regularly update us on our child's progress. They hold official meetings every few months and offer advice on how we can support our child at home. Teachers also communicate immediately if they notice any issues or changes in behaviour. For parents considering a Chinese primary school or wanting their child to master multiple languages, MyGenius is an excellent choice. Our experience over the past 4 years has been outstanding, with notable improvements in our child's academics, personality, and overall development. MyGenius is a great choice.
Before joining MyGenius, my son wasn't able to speak Mandarin, and definitely couldn't write. Since exposure to MyGenius, he improves tremendously in Mandarin. He can speak Mandarin fluently and write in Chinese very well as well. Academically wise, he has improved a lot in Mandarin, Math, Bahasa and Science. Behavioral wise, he can manage himself better now, more independent and can follow instruction. He is a playful child. With guidance from teachers, he learns to be more patient and able to learn. The environment is very clean and neat. The teachers are very helpful. For working parents, we really appreciate this kind of helpfulness from the teachers to support us working parents. We really appreciate the effort from the teachers. The way the centre is managed, it is very good.
